Probus club members appreciated your willingness to open your workshop to us and to be as helpful as you were to questions and discussion. The club has men from all sorts of occupational backgrounds and so wherever we visit there will be some with relevant history to take a special interest in what we are seeing. I am not sure any of us were directly involved with horology but many of us will have some background reason to be grateful for the opportunity you provided us with.

Well this note is just 7 years to late. Better late than never!! Seven years ago i called in and bought a large Smiths Bakelite old school clock.
We have been living in Melbourne for the last 7 years and whilst unpacking the clock yesterday I spotted your little sticker on the back. I have often wondered if you have survived the ups and downs of the economy in NZ and been able to live your dream in the quaint little town of Outram! I am delighted t hear you have!

I just love the clock I purchased from you which will take pride of place in my office in our new corporate office in Melbourne.

I look forward to meeting you again some time in the future.

Yes the pocket watch arrived just when you said it would and the YouTube video you made was a wonderful personalised touch! I gave it to my husband for his birthday on Monday and he was speechless. He thought it was a wonderful gift and the kids are really fascinated by it. You can imagine it has sparked many conversations around what it was like in the “olden days”.

Thank you so much for your discretion and for providing me a great experience and helping me give my husband with a wonderful gift. You went above and beyond my expectations and I will certainly recommend your services and purchase from you again.

Please feel free to quote me on your website if you like – and the couple of searches I used was via Google – 1 for pocket watches, 1 for vintage pocket watch. I can’t remember which, but one of them brought up the article in the paper about the business which was good because I could put a face to who I was dealing with and feel comfortable with making that type of transaction online.
